This is the perfect alternative to a nightstand. Not to mention, customer service is top notch. I had an issue and Chris resolved it efficiently. This is an awesome product and company and I hope they are around for years to come! This literally is my favorite thing in my dorm room! it gets me so horned up!The product is great! Our original order unfortunately didn’t do well during shipping but the owner went above and beyond to get a new one shipped out! We had it within a couple days. Amazing customer service! This Bed Shelfie fits almost any size bed, and it is surprisingly sturdy. I am able to fit my ipad, my book, my phone, earplugs, and lip balm on it without having to stack it all. It looks nice and subtle – and as a bonus, it has a little groove in both ends for a charger, so it doesn't fall down even when you take it out of your phone.I highly recommend this for anyone who doesn't have that much space – or who just liked a minimalist look for their bedroom.Just received the bed shelf but upon opening the package the middle of the board was cracked. The unit came preassembled and the screws were in too tight. I think some wood putty will do the trick.Four stars because the first shelfie received had a crack in it.This works great for me! I ordered it for exactly what it was intended for, to use as a little nightstand for my dorm room. It’s a simple, nice design and quite sturdy. I used it for about 3 weeks and one of the screws broke off, but I emailed the company and they helped me out and sent me a new one with no problems! Great customer service and a great product! This bed shelf was very convenient for placing my cellphone, and snacks. Love it!!I purchased this for my daughter's new high sleeper bed, which means she is too high for a bedside table. On the plus side, the size of the shelf is greatIt's also super easy to clamp on to the bed.On the down side, the clamping mechanism is two looooooong screw bolts with handles on the end to turn. These are under the shelf, so if the shelf is above head height then you have two ugly looking bolts to look at when you're in the room.I was also somewhat underwhelmed by quality of the finish.Whilst serviceable, it feels like someone has just primed it and that there should be another coat of paint on it.Great idea but finish of the shelf is poor.I was really impressed by the concept of this shelf, and it was just what I had been looking for. When it arrived I was really disappointed. The quality was very poor, with unsanded splinters painted over, large gaps between pieces and blotchy painting. The paint feels like a primer, with discoloured yellow patches, bubbles, scratches and patches which look to have been touched up with a different shade of white paint. The advertised felt patches are only on the screws, not on the sharp metal brackets which sit over and behind bedhead, meaning these could still scratch your bed.Definitely not worth this price.I'll be getting another one of these for my partners side of the bed.The bed shelfie is modern and is of traditional sturdy construction (not like something filmsie from IKEA) and takes literally a couple of minutes to attach using the adjustable clamps– impressive. We have an awkwardly small bedroom, so we've never had the room for a bedside table – let alone one each side. We've gone all minimalist since reading a book on minimalism - so large or unnecessary furniture seems like clutter to me now, so these bedshelfies are perfect,I'm so pleased to have found them.I was impressed that my MacBook fitted on it perfectly, and it also has slots at the sides for cables when I am recharging my phone .They would be great for students or to use on kids bunk beds. What a great idea to provide a little extra shelf space that i right by the bed. Bought one to go on child's bunk bed and it was delivered quickly (thanks Amazon!). Simple and robust in design it also has a 'clean' look to it which makes it easy on the eye. Well thought notches for wires for the ubiquitous chargers we all have and enough space for magazines, books and, just imagine the quaintness, an alarm clock.I obviously didn't try to stand on it to test the strength but did push on it to apply pressure and it will easily hold as much as you are likely to put on it (unless you try to pile your 20kg gym weights on there which wouldn't be sensible would it?).In summary, a very neat piece of furniture that helps with accessible storage space. I wonder if the designers will bring it out in other colours someday?Bought for my son’s 4ft ottoman bed (side opening). It fits perfectly and is very stable and sturdy. I do think it’s expensive for what it is but couldn’t find anything cheaper. Perfect for my son to leave his dinner plate on for days :/
