Alright. Saw how small the box was for this thing and immediately felt regret. Looked way too small to replace the bulky shelf that I had in my kitchen holding all my food cans. Figured I made it this far so would put it together and try it on for size. Putting it together made me wary if it could hold the weight of all the food cans because each shelf sits on little (flimsy feeling and non-clasping) clips you apply to the four main vertical posts. You then push the shelf over the clips where by the clips are larger in circumference than the slots on the shelf (so you'd better push down hard to make sure they don't pop-off). After I put it all together and moved all the food items/cans over I was pleasantly surprised. It took up less floor space instead using vertical space, but was capable of carrying all the weight, and because the shelves were smaller I was able to see what I had more easily. It feels sturdy once assembled. I'd buy it again. Super glad it worked out.
