I kinda wish I didn’t buy this. It looks nice but mine is on carpet and is a bit unstable. I tried adjusting it with the adjustable pegs on the bottom, but they are too short to adjust. I will see if I can find a substitute for it. The shelves are about 36.5 inches apart with 34 being where the clothes hang. Glad I didn’t buy one for my husbands side of the closet because his shirts are quite a few inches too long for it.
