I use this for my canned goods. The cans do go over the edge a little, but they sit on the tiers well enough. The part that pulls off is not very sturdy. I don’t put heavy cans on that part because I’m afraid of it cracking the wood. Also, the difference in height between the expanded part and the main body causes the cans there to tilt over, but I’m not sure how you would be able to get around that design wise. Overall, it’s very nice and I’d much rather have tilted cans than straight cans on a plastic rack.Works well and looks nice. I like that the shelves are solid bamboo and not slatted. The slatted ones can sometimes have too wide of gaps so some of my smaller jars won't fit right on them and be crooked. Our cabinets are small with low shelves so it is difficult to reach the jars in the back. Since we don't have a lot of headspace between this and the shelf above it we end up having to move the front jars out of the way to reach the back ones, or else all the ones in front get knocked over. If you have bigger cabinets than us, with more space between shelves, then you should have no problems. If you don't, I'd suggest a lazy suzan instead. Our cabinets seem abnormally small so this shouldn't be a problem for most people with standard or large cabinets.I purchased the medium size shelf for a medicine cabinet as it was running out of space. I love the fact this is expandable to fit different size cabinets/spaces. It literally tripled the size of the bottom shelf in our medicine cabinet. The medicine cabinet is much more organized which makes it easier to find medicine. Even larger bottles (vitamins) fit on this shelf which I was surprised about.Overall the finish is good, part of the top section was a little off fit/finish wise of I would have given this product 5 stars. That is not going to stop me from purchasing another medium plus a large size.Very cheaply made. Pieces of wood are held together with staples and not all of the staples are centered in the wood so I had to repair one end.I needed a solution for inside the actual cabinet, and these was a very good fit. The fact that it's expandable makes it worthwhile to most people, because you can use this in just about any size cabinet. The platforms are wide enough for my larger spice bottles, though it can get crowded. It's also a little difficult figuring out which spices are which in the back row because each platform isn't that much higher than the prior one.We're using 2 of these side by side on the dry-bar nook between the kitchen and the dining room. The steps are deep enough to hold a 750 ML bottle, but you have to stagger them--can't put one directly in front of the other. Much more affordable than "real" bar stands, though, and the spacing helps the bar look tidy.I really enjoy this shelf organizer! I use it to store bottles of olive oil, vinegar, and other cooking essentials that need to be kept at room temperature, but are too big to the cabinet. Because it's expandable, you can determine how much space it takes up on the counter. If you need to fit more bottles, you just make it wider. The bamboo adds a nice touch to the kitchen and will complement almost any decor.It looks pretty classy if you are viewing it from above, but if you have the shelf set at eye level, the seams are pretty obvious. Perhaps a minor point though. The picture shows the bamboo one versus a plastic competitors shelf. Personally I think the plastic one is better.
