I purchased this to use for making gelli prints. I have it on the side of my desk. This gives me a raised platform that is about bar height - 42 inches high. No more hunching! I have placed my smaller Dahle Vanguard 12x18 clear cutting mat on it, my gelli plate is on top of that. This is a nice solution for me because I always ended up hunching and getting a backache when I did art and/or craft projects on a table or my desk. I use the lower part of the stand to mix and roll out my paint on 9x12 Strathmore Palette paper. This allows for easy clean up and keeps the stands base clean.It was very easy to assemble, and looks nice because of it's simple minimalist design, and white color.Highly recommend this for either a printer stand or for alternative uses!
